How to Get Shiny Igglybuff in Pokemon Sleep

Sleep Very Still for Slumbering Sleep Type

To encounter Igglybuff after your sleep session, you need to make almost no movements while you are sleeping. This increases your chances of being classified into the Slumbering Sleep Type.

Be careful not to be too still for too long. If your app detects no movement for a long period of time, the app might think that you're not really there and your sleep data may not be considered valid.

Take note that getting this Sleep Type will only increase your chances of Igglybuff appearing. You will still have to rely on luck to find a Shiny Igglybuff.

Aim for a Balanced Sleep Type

It's ideal to aim for the specific Sleep Type of the Pokemon you're Shiny hunting to limit the Pokemon species that will appear after a sleep session. However, if getting a specific Sleep Type is difficult for you, you can opt to aim for the Balanced Sleep Type.

This is a mix of all three Sleep Types and is easy to get by sleeping normally. You are also more likely to get this Sleep Type by sleeping consistently as Sleep Types are determined by your past sleep data.

Igglybuff Incense

When doing your Weekly Missions, you may ocassionally be rewarded with a Pokemon Incense for particular Pokemon.

If you use a Igglybuff Incense during your sleep session, it will attract Igglybuff. You can then expect to find mainly Igglybuff to surround Snorlax during your sleep research. This can help increase your odds of finding a Shiny Igglybuff.

Good Camp Set

Pokemon Sleep - Good Camp Set

The Good Camp Set, obtained by using a Good Camp Ticket, provides a lot of good benefits for the week.

One benefit you get is to have an extra Pokemon appear after every sleep session. This additional Pokemon can help a lot with your Shiny hunting, since you are guaranteed to have at least four Pokemon appear even if your Sleep Score is low.

Have Two Sleep Sessions

You are allowed to have a maximum of two sleep sessions every day. Using both of your sessions daily is an optimal way to Shiny hunt, especially when your Snorlax Strength is still low.

Sleep Session Mechanics

Only One Biscuit Needed

Shiny Pokemon are always hungry, and feeding them any type of Biscuit always results in a mega hit. This means that you only need a single Biscuit to max out a Shiny Pokemon's Friendship, regardless of how many Friendship Points it would normally take.

Save your rare Biscuits, and use the easy-to-come-by Poke Biscuit or daily free Bonus Biscuit to befriend your Shiny Igglybuff.

More Likely To Appear With a Low Snorlax Rating

Pokemon Sleep - Basic 2 Snorlax Rating

Since Igglybuff is one of the first Pokemon available with a Basic Rating, it may be more beneficial to have a low Snorlax Rating when Shiny hunting Igglybuff.

The higher your Snorlax Rating, the more Pokemon species and Sleep Styles are made available. If you have a higher Rating, the common early-game Pokemon like Igglybuff may be harder to encounter.

Of course, you can't force your Snorlax Rating to stay the same. A low Snorlax rating will also hinder you from encountering more than three Pokemon at a time.

But since your Snorlax Rating resets every Monday, it may be ideal to Shiny hunt Igglybuff during the earlier days of the week.
