90 Minute Sleep Session (First Session) Review Phase |
---|
1. Ensure Snorlax Has Great Strength 2. Missions Board and Sleep Pass Check 3. Take Your Main Team to Bed |
This phase, though it may seem optional at first, is actually a vital part of integrating Pokemon Sleep into your day. It starts the night before you get started on your daily routine.
Making sure that your Snorlax has as much Strength as possible will increase his rank, leading to an increased Drowsy Power at the end of every Sleep Session. An increased Drowsy Power will lead to more Pokemon!
If you want to encounter the most Pokemon after a single Session, feeding Snorlax their breakfast, lunch, and dinner will ensure that they have the Strength to do so! Additionally, your helpers will find Berries to feed Snorlax to increase their Strength further.
When cooking Meals, you can either use the Auto-Cook function to throw 15 random Ingredients into the pot for a random Meal, or use a Recipe of a meal you have previously made, which you'll unlock after registering 12 Sleep Styles, the second Sleep Style Dex Goal!
Additionally, you can create new Recipes by manually adding different Ingredients into the pot! Don't be afraid to experiment with different Ingredients whenever you get the chance.
Checking your Missions Board and Sleep Pass regularly is a good habit to develop as they will provide you with various rewards such as Biscuits and Incense. These consumables are game changers when it comes to maintaining your Pokemon and recruiting new ones!
To find out how to complete a Mission Objective, you can view a hint for it in the Missions Board. The Sleep Pass offers items through exchanging Sleep Points that you get every day.
Before going to bed, be sure to take your Main Team of helpers to bed with you. Your Main Team will always cover the latter half of your day, so they are bound to be exhausted at this point!

Morning (Breakfast and Befriending Pokemon) Phase |
---|
1. Check and Feed New Pokemon 2. Breakfast with Snorlax 3. Berry and Ingredient Collection (First Round) 4. Team Swapping and Management 5. First Sleep Session (90 Minutes) |
As soon as you wake up from your Regular Sleep Session and review your Sleep Data, you should check for any new Pokemon you've encountered during your sleep. The number of Pokemon you get will depend on your Drowsy Power.
For any reappearing Pokemon, give them your regular Poke Biscuits, while any new, rare, Shiny, or evolved Pokemon get Bonus, Great, and Master Biscuits to give them Friendship points. Maxed out Friendship results in a new helper!
Occasionally, you will encounter Pokemon that are Hungry. Feeding these Pokemon will result in more Friendship points than usual! In order to increase your chances of encountering a Hungry Pokemon, you can use an Incense.
From 4AM to 12PM, Snorlax will be craving for breakfast. Tap your Snorlax to get cooking, and either use Auto-Cook to throw 15 random Ingredients into the pot or use Recipes of Meals you've cooked previously.
You can also choose to create new dishes manually. Don't be afraid to experiment with those Ingredients!
Each Snorlax you raise every week will have varying favorite Meals. Cooking these Meals and serving it to them will result in more Strength, subsequently resulting in more Drowsy Power at the end of Sleep Sessions, netting you even more Pokemon!
Collect your first set of Berries and Ingredients of the day from your Main Team of helper Pokemon.
Feed the Berries to Snorlax for additional Strength, and store your Ingredients for future Meals. Should your helpers come across any of their respective Candies, be sure to collect those, too!
Swap to one of your Alternate Teams to help you out in the morning and take them to bed later on your First Sleep Session. This should also keep your Main Team rested and ready for the afternoon and nighttime activities.
Find out what your priorities are, may they be the collection of Ingedients or Berries, or triggering Skills, and make your adjustments accordingly.
Around this time, you should prepare to track your First Sleep Session of the day. Pokemon Sleep allows for the recording of Two Sleep Sessions per day, and doing this first one will ensure the maximum amount of Pokemon in a single day!

Afternoon (Lunch and First Sleep Session) Phase |
---|
1. First Sleep Session (90 Minutes) Review + Snack Time 2. Lunch with Snorlax 3. Berry and Ingredient Collection (Second Round) 4. Team Swapping and Management |
After the 90 minutes are up, end your Sleep Session, review and submit your Sleep Data, and check for new Pokemon once again.
It will be the exact same drill for feeding Pokemon — the new, rare, Shiny, and Evolved ones get Great and Master Biscuits while previously encountered ones get ordinary Poke Biscuits. Fill those Friendship meters up to get new helpers!
From 12PM to 6PM, Snorlax will be hungry for Lunch. Tap on their belly and get to cooking them their second Meal of the day! Always remember that you can use the Auto-Cook function or cook manually using the Recipes function if you have it unlocked.
Your second round of collecting Berries and Ingredients are up, so be sure to check in with your helper Pokemon and see what they have for you. Ingredients go into the pot, Candies go into your Pokemon's levels, and Berries go into Snorlax's belly!
Right after your resource collection, swap to your Main Team and give your Alternate Team a break. This team will take care of the longer and latter half of your day, from high noon all the way to your designated bedtime.
If you've been following our rotation, then the Main Team should also go with you to bed for your Regular Sleep Session tonight, which will take about 6-8 hours.

The third and final round of collecting Berries and Ingredients is finally here! Check your helper Pokemon team and collect all the resources you can, including Candies for levelling them up.
This would be a good time to finalize your teams and make adjustments according to your priorities. Pokemon Sleep allows the forming of 5 teams, so feel free to build your teams and cycle through them thorughout the day.
One thing to take note of when building Pokemon Teams is that when you have two or more Pokemon of the same species, they will synergize better and level up faster!
To know how you can take advantage of this, be sure to view your Pokemon's stats in the Pokemon Box.
Before going to bed, it is also a good idea to check your Missions Board and Sleep Pass one final time to gather all the rewards you can! Stock up on Biscuits and Incense to make your future activities easier.
This will be your Regular Sleep Session, so preparing for it will be in your best interest. Decide on which of the four Sleep Types you want to achieve in relation to the Pokemon you want to encounter, and make real-life adjustments to help you get it!

All Sleep Types and How to Do Them | |
---|---|
Balanced Sleep Type |
Snoozing Sleep Type |
Dozing Sleep Type |
Slumbering Sleep Type |
For your Regular Sleep Session, we recommend doing the Balanced Sleep Type pattern. Not only is this Sleep Type healthy and easy to achieve, but because it is a combination of the other three Sleep Types, all Pokemon will respond to it!
Being cautious when playing any game is vital. Pokemon Sleep can present harm by either messing with your sleeping patterns or having your device overheat because you are required to keep it plugged in with the screen turned on.
By no means should you try and force yourself to meet Sleep Type conditions. Additionally, to conserve power without locking your device, keep it face down on your bed beside you to shut the screen off!
Needless to say, you must have Pokemon Sleep open and running to track your sleep. Should you have any Incense you want to use, do so now, then it's lights out!
You can track your sleep using the new Pokemon GO Plus+ device while your phone is locked to conserve power better! Just make sure that the device is connected to the app if you do so.
To track your sleep with Pokemon GO Plus+, simply hold down the middle button until the device vibrates and glows blue.
