Other Bonuses |
|
Extra Bonus for Eevee Day (11/ 21) | 1,121 Sleep Points |
During this Eevee event, Eevee and all its evolutions (or Eeveelutions) have a higher encounter rate.
There's no need to aim for the Snoozing Sleep Type for Eevee because you will be able to encounter Pokemon of all Sleep Types during this week. It will be as if you get a Balanced Sleep Type for every sleep session, at least when it comes to Pokemon appearing.
As one of the best Skills Specialty Pokemon, Eevee will be blessing all Pokemon with increased Main Skill trigger rates as well.
On November 21, which is the designated Eevee Day, an extra 1,121 Sleep Points will be rewarded after your first sleep session on this day. More Pokemon that do not match your Sleep Type will appear after sleep sessions on this day as well.
November 21 is considered Eevee Day because 1-1-2-1 in Japanese can be pronounced in a similar way to Eevee.
This event is the perfect time to Shiny hunt Eevee, since Eevee has a boosted Shiny rate during Eevee Week!
The base Shiny odds for Pokemon Sleep is estimated to be better than Pokemon GO's approximate 1 in 450 Shiny rate (we estimate closer to 1 in 300~350 odds!). During this event, Eevee's shiny odds were certainly boosted much higher than this though!
According to our data which contained a sample size of around 2000 encountered eevees during the event, we estimate an approximate 1 in 13 shiny rate for Eevees encountered in this event!

If you're aiming to find one of Eevee's evolutions in the wild, take care when selecting your research area for the week.
Flareon and Leafeon have been assigned a home just before Eevee Week thanks to the Version 1.0.13 update! Flareon has been added to Taupe Hollow, and Leafeon has been added to Greengrass Isle, though they only have one Sleep Style each in these areas.

From November 19, 4 AM UTC to November 28, 4 AM UTC, a set of three bundles will be available for a limited time at the General Store to celebrate Eevee Week. The Biscuits, Friend Incense, Eevee Incense, and Eevee Candy in these bundles will help you find, befriend, and raise Eevee.
You can only purchase 3 of the small Eevee Week Bundle, and 1 each of the medium and large Eevee Week Bundles.
General Store Purchase Guide: Best Items to Buy
It's a good idea to maximize your sleep sessions each day. Doing two sleep sessions usually allows you to see the most amount of Pokemon in a day. This may prevent rarer Pokemon from appearing since dividing your Sleep Score may reduce your Snorlax Strength per session.
Luckily, Eevee is not at all rare and is readily available in all research areas! Try to make sure your combined Sleep Score for the day amounts to 100 (at least 8 hours and 30 minutes of sleep for adults) to completely maximize your Pokemon encounters.
Shiny Eevee Odds, Color Differences and How to Get
Having a Balanced Sleep Type expands the pool of Pokemon that can appear after your sleep session. Even though Eevee has an increased encounter chance, it may not be enough to combat the amount of other Pokemon that can appear.
As much as possible, try to avoid getting a Balanced Sleep Type. Try for either a Dozing Type, Snoozing Type, or Slumbering Type instead.
All Sleep Types and How to Get Each One
Using a Good Camp Ticket to set up a Good Camp Set for the week allows you to have an extra Pokemon encounter for every sleep session. When doing two sessions a day, this allows you to see two extra Pokemon each day! This gives you the best chances of finding Shiny Eevee.
Is the Good Camp Ticket Worth It?

The research area islands with the most Eeveelutions are Greengrass Isle and Taupe Hollow with three Eeveelutions each.
Snowdrop Tundra and Cyan Beach, on the other hand, currently only have 1 Eeveelution each with Glaceon and Vaporeon respectively.
Since Sylveon and Jolteon are high up on our Tier List, we think that Greengrass Isle the best Research Area for Eevee Week. This is assuming you can reach at least the Master 5 Snorlax Rating at Greengrass Isle.
If you cannot reach the Master Snorlax Ratings yet, it's best to just hunt for Eevee in whichever research area you are most comfortable with.
Greengrass Isle is always a good place to start for anyone, but if you have a lot of strong Water-types or Fairy-types, Cyan Beach may allow you to raise Snorlax Strength faster.
Even if you can reach the Master Ratings, if you also have a specific Eeveelution you want, feel free to select the island it resides in.
Skill | Effect |
---|---|
Ingredient Magnet S | Gets you 6 ingredients chosen at random. |
Cooking Power-Up S | Gives your pot room for 7 more ingredients next time you cook. |
Charge Strength M | Increases Snorlax's Strength by 880. |
Since Eevee Week increases the chance of Main Skills activating, it's a good idea to use Pokemon with Main Skills that can help you boost your Snorlax's Strength.
The best skills for this purpose are Ingredient Magnet S, Cooking Power-Up S, and Charge Strength M. The Ingredient Magnet and Cooking Power-Up skills are excellent to have in tandem, since expanding your cooking pot isn't very helpful if you have no ingredients.
If you have no good Charge Strength M Pokemon, another good alternative is the ranged variant of Charge Strength S.
List of All Main Skills and Effects
Venusaur, Charizard, Blastoise, and Walrein are the best Ingredient Magnet S Pokemon you can use. You can choose which one you'd like on your helper team depending on your Snorlax's favorite Berries and the ingredients you may need.
Put those ingredients to good use by having Magnezone on your team! If you don't have Magnezone, either Glaceon or Flareon can serve as a substitute.
Ampharos is the best user of the Charge Strength M skill, though Espeon also does well with this skill if you don't have access to Ampharos.
It is also recommended to keep your Helper team energized throughout the day by having Wigglytuff on your team.
