Chance for Shiny Eevee With Boosted Shiny Odds

Pokemon Sleep - Shiny Eevee
Pokemon Sleep - Eevee Week Shiny Eevee Rate

This event is the perfect time to Shiny hunt Eevee, since Eevee has a boosted Shiny rate during Eevee Week!

The base Shiny odds for Pokemon Sleep is estimated to be better than Pokemon GO's approximate 1 in 450 Shiny rate (we estimate closer to 1 in 300~350 odds!). During this event, Eevee's shiny odds were certainly boosted much higher than this though!

According to our data which contained a sample size of around 2000 encountered eevees during the event, we estimate an approximate 1 in 13 shiny rate for Eevees encountered in this event!

Increased Main Skill Trigger Rate

Pokemon Sleep - Evee Ingredient Magnet S Skill

As one of the best Skills Specialty Pokemon, Eevee will be blessing all Pokemon with increased Main Skill trigger rates.

All Pokemon will have the odds of their main skill activating increased by 1.5 times. This is especially great for Skills Specialty Pokemon and those with a Nature boosting main skill chance.

More Bonuses During Eevee Day

On November 21, which is the designated Eevee Day, an extra 1,121 Sleep Points will be rewarded after your first sleep session on this day.

November 21 is considered Eevee Day because 1-1-2-1 in Japanese can be pronounced in a similar way to Eevee.

Since this event is dedicated to Eevee, this Pokemon will have the highest encounter chance this week. Eevee can be found in all research areas at a Basic Snorlax Rating.

Although Eevee can be found in all research areas, its evolutions only appear in specific areas, but they also have increased encounter chances in the research areas and Snorlax Ratings they can be found in.

Greengrass Isle may be the best island to go to if you want to encounter all of Eevee’s evolutions. It is also the only research area that has Sylveon, one of the best Eeveelutions you can get.

However, most Eeveelutions require you to reach the Master 5 Snorlax Rating at Greengrass Isle, except for Sylveon that only requires a Master 3 rating.

Eevee Shiny Hunting Tips

Two Sleep Sessions for More Encounters

Pokemon Sleep - Sleep Score.png

It's a good idea to maximize your sleep sessions each day. Doing two sleep sessions usually allows you to see the most amount of Pokemon in a day. This may prevent rarer Pokemon from appearing since dividing your Sleep Score may reduce your Snorlax Strength per session.

Luckily, Eevee is not at all rare and is readily available in all research areas! Try to make sure your combined Sleep Score for the day amounts to 100 (at least 8 hours and 30 minutes of sleep for adults) to completely maximize your Pokemon encounters.

Shiny Eevee Odds, Color Differences and How to Get

Avoid the Balanced Sleep Type

Pokemon Sleep - Balanced Sleep Type.png

Having a Balanced Sleep Type expands the pool of Pokemon that can appear after your sleep session. Even though Eevee has an increased encounter chance, it may not be enough to combat the amount of other Pokemon that can appear.

As much as possible, try to avoid getting a Balanced Sleep Type. Try for either a Dozing Type, Snoozing Type, or Slumbering Type instead.

All Sleep Types and How to Get Each One

Use a Good Camp Ticket

Pokemon Sleep - Is the Good Camp Ticket Worth It - Good Camp Set

Using a Good Camp Ticket to set up a Good Camp Set for the week allows you to have an extra Pokemon encounter for every sleep session. When doing two sessions a day, this allows you to see two extra Pokemon each day! This gives you the best chances of finding Shiny Eevee.

Pokemon Sleep - Helper Boost (Water) Helper Boost (Water) Instantly gets you bonus help from all Pokemon on your team that increases in amount the more Water-type Pokemon species are on your team.

Since Eevee Week increases the chance of Main Skills activating, it's a good idea to use Pokemon with Main Skills that can help you boost your Snorlax's Strength.

The best skills for this purpose are Ingredient Magnet S, Cooking Power-Up S, Charge Strength M, and the Helper Boost skills of the Johto Legendary trio.

The Ingredient Magnet and Cooking Power-Up skills are excellent to have in tandem, since expanding your cooking pot isn't very helpful if you have no ingredients.
