The Slumbering Sleep Type Pattern is a sleeping pattern players can do to acquire different types of Pokemon in Pokemon Sleep. Learn helpful tips and tricks on how to do the Slumbering Sleep Type, what it is, and what Pokemon you can get here!
List of Contents
The Slumbering Sleep Type is characterized by the game as sleeping soundly, moving as little as possible, and making the least amount of noise.
The Slumbering Sleep Type Pattern can be acquired if one sleeps through the night undisturbed, without waking up, tossing and turning too much, or making too much noise.
To ensure that you get this type of sleeping pattern, you need to make sure that you sleep soundly and peacefully throughout your Sleep Session, regardless if you sleep during the day or the night depending on your daily schedule.
An alternative way to getting the Slumbering Sleep Type is by simply leaving your smartphone face-down on a soft surface in your room or residence where it could remain stationary. This will register your "sleep" as undisturbed.
Make sure to move your phone occasionally because sleep that is too undisturbed may cause the app to think that you are not asleep and may be marked as untracked time. Untracked time cannot be counted towards your Sleep Score.
When playing Pokemon Sleep, do keep in mind that you can record up to two sleep sessions per day for a minimum of 90 minutes per session.
If you're planning to collect the most Pokemon within a single day, we recommend using the second sleep session to get a different Sleep Type.
Sleep Type Quiz
Starting from your third sleep session, your Sleep Type will be determined by comparing your results to your previous sleep sessions.
If you're consistently a Dozing sleeper, it might be easier for you to get the Slumbering Sleep Type simply by being completely still before falling asleep and after waking up but before ending the Sleep Session.
Take note that if your activity levels remain consistent for every sleep session, you are more likely to get the Balanced Sleep Type Pattern.
You can acquire these Pokemon when you get a Slumbering Sleep Type Pattern in Pokemon Sleep. Generally, Baby Pokemon and Water-type Pokemon sleep this way.
Get some good and peaceful shut-eye and they should make their way to you no problem!

The Slumbering Sleep Type might be difficult to attain if you are the type of person who finds it difficult to sleep at night, may it be due to your body's natural schedule or your day-to-day schedule. Here are some tips to attain this Sleep Type Pattern better.
An age-old hack, drinking a glass of warm milk can help one fall asleep faster and get better sleep. Try warming up some milk and consuming it at least one hour before bed.
Much like many other creatures and Pokemon, the human body's response to lower temperatures is to hibernate.
Turning on your air conditioner or a fan in your room to make it colder can make you sleep better and longer through the night.
A very interesting way to get better and longer sleep is by taking a warm shower at least one hour before bed.
Correlating to the previous tip, taking a warm shower will have your body instinctively cool itself down. Hence, you will find yourself yawning and wanting to go to bed just a short while later. Pair this with a cold room and you'll be sleeping through the night!
Screens from devices tend to give off blue light, which may be detrimental to your sleep quality. To get better sleep, try staying off your devices for at least an hour or two before going to sleep.
If you absolutely must check your devices before bed, most smartphones have a blue light filter option that gives your screen a warmer tint. Turn it on and lower your screen's brightness to give yourself a better chance of falling asleep faster.
It goes without saying that caffeine, a chemical designed to help you stay awake, is not going to help you sleep. Hence, overly caffeinated individuals generally have a hard time falling asleep, or getting better quality sleep.
In order to avoid this, one must avoid caffeine at least 8 hours before their designated bedtime.
