Error Code 025200 causes players to return to the Pokemon Sleep title screen when Snorlax eats Berries and through other actions. Find out how you can fix this error and its possible causes in this guide!

Pokemon Sleep is actively working to fix Error 025200 since many players have been getting bombarded with this error code, preventing them from playing the game.
This error is bugging players at an unfortunate time, with the Good Sleep Day event currently ongoing and the Raikou Research event slowly starting to roll out.
Error 025200 automatically fixes itself upon moving to a new research area the following Monday. Unfortunately, this doesn't help if you need the Berries and ingredients in a last effor to raise your Snorlax Strength on Sunday, but at least we know that the bug isn't permanent.
A more permanent fix will have to wait until the next update.
It appears as though this error needs to be fixed on the developer's side. Restarting the app or clearing the cache does not seem to affect it. If you've received error code 025200 and it won't go away, the best you can do, unfortunately, is to wait.
A fix to this error is likely the top priority of the developers since the Raikou Research event is a big event that is introducing the first Legendary Pokemon to the game. Players can't participate in this event if an error keeps redierecting them to the title screen.

For those have been affected by this bug, three Helper Whistles are being given away as a token of apology. This gift can help make up for the ingredients that players weren't able to pick up due to the error.
Only those who were affected by Error 025200 will receive the gift. If you did not send a support ticket, don't worry. The developers were able to narrow down all the affected users, so you should still receive the gift as long as you're one of the affected players.
Those who were affected but have not received the Helper Whistle gift should contact the Pokemon Sleep Support Team.
Helper Whistle Effect and How to Get
Error code 025200 causes the game to return to the title screen when it triggers.
According to Pokemon Sleep's report, it seems to trigger when Snorlax is eating Berries. It's possible that this error may trigger if Snorlax's Berry box is suddenly increased by a lot of Berries at once.
Some users are reporting that obtaining ingredients and not just Berries triggers the bug.
Picking up a lot of ingredients and Berries from your Pokemon, such as after an overnight sleep session, may be likely to cause the bug to appear.
The Night Cap Pikachu you get from pairing a Pokemon GO Plus + device to Pokemon Sleep appears to be unaffected based on social media reports. You can safely pick up its collected items without encountering the error.
Based on reports from social media, it looks like Error 025200 is affecting US-based Pokemon Sleep players more.
It's possible that the error may be caused by the implementation of the Raikou Research event, which is currently live in eastern countries but has not yet started in the United States. If the error is Raikou Research-related, we can hope that the error fixes itself in a few hours once the event is live worldwide.
