Komala Made its Pokemon Go Debut!

Komala
Pokemon Sleep - Komala

Komala was a very fitting Pokemon for this event, as Koala's are known to sleep for most of the day.

Komala is no different. In the mainline games it has the Comatose Ability. This ability allows it to be in a permanent quasi-sleep condition, allowing it to be immune to other status conditions, while still being able to move freely with both sleep based attacks such as Sleep Talk and Snore, as well as regular moves like Rollout.

In Pokemon Go it is not set to be a fantastic attacker, however it is very cute and trainers will surely be itching to get one! Unfortunately its shiny form is not available just yet, and it is a rare spawn, so players will have their work cut out finding one!

Shiny Pokemon in Catching Some Z's Event

Jigglypuff, Abra, Drowzee, Snorlax, Mareep, Teddiursa, Slakoth, Munna, Galarian Slowpoke, Gloom and (Mega) Blaziken are All Available Shiny

Although Gloom does not have the shiny icon next to it, it has been available as a Shiny in the wild since the Johto Tour Event, which leads us to believe it is still Shiny Potential for this event!

The Pokemon in the above listed table are all available in their Shiny Forms during the Catching Some Z's Event. For players who have not already caught them during the Go Fest Events, we recommend shiny hunting for Shiny Snorlax and Shiny Munna, since these 2 in particular are quite rare!
