Berries | Ingredients |
One of the most important things that your Helper Pokemon do is gathering Berries to feed Snorlax. Each Pokemon has a particular Berry that they gather while they are in your Helper Team and out on the field. Tap on any Pokemon with a magnifying glass on top of their head to collect any Berries or ingredients they have gathered.
Each Pokemon has a maximum limit to the items they can carry. This limit can be found under each Pokemon's Helping Stats. However, if a Pokemon reaches their Carry Limit, they will just automatically give Snorlax the extra Berries they gather even if you're not actively playing Pokemon Sleep.
Other than Berries, Helper Pokemon also pick up ingredients while they are out on the field. These ingredients can be used to make meals for Snorlax during breakfast, lunch, and dinner hours.
You can view the ingredients your Pokemon can gather under their Helping Stats on their respective Pokemon pages.
Using the Helper Whistle item on your Pokemon allows them to get 3 hours worth of Berries and ingredients immediately. This is a single-use item though, so use it wisely. Make sure that all the Pokemon you want to get Berries or ingredients from are in your active Helper Team and out on the field.

How to Keep Helper Pokemon Energized |

1. Go to Sleep. 2. Use an Energy Pillow. 2. Use Pokemon with the Charge Energy Skill. |
If your Pokemon have been hard at work all day gathering Berries and Ingredients, they will grow tired. You can check your Pokemon's mood and energy level in your Pokemon Box or your Helper Team.
The easiest and most common way to make your Pokemon happy and full of energy is to go to sleep. Start a Sleep Session, and your Pokemon will sleep with you.
You can use a Recovery Incense to further increase the energy you get from sleeping if you know you won't be able to sleep for long.
Take note that only the Pokemon you have on your active Helper Team will go to sleep and gain energy.
If you don't have time to take a nap or if you only need one particular Pokemon to gain energy, you can use the Energy Pillow item. This is a single-use item that can restore 50 points of energy to a single Pokemon.
You can buy more Energy Pillows through the in-game store or earn it as a reward for certain achievments.
Energy Pillow Effect and How to Get
Pokemon with the Charge Energy Skill can randomly gain energy as they work to gather food. It's very handy to have one of these Pokemon around especially if you know you won't be able to sleep any time soon. These Helper Pokemon can often maintain their happiness throughout the day.
This Skill can only activate if the Pokemon with the Charge Energy Skill is in your active Helper Team.

How to Choose Your Helper Pokemon |
---|
1. Make Helper Teams. 2. Choose Pokemon that Gather Snorlax's Favorite Berries. 3. Choose Pokemon with Useful Skills. |
You can have up to five Pokemon in a Helper Pokemon Team. Choose your Team members by going to Edit Teams in the Pokemon menu, and tap on any Pokemon you want to replace.
Afternoon Guide: Helper Pokemon Shifts
When you first tried doing a Sleep Session, you may have noticed the sleeping Pikachu on your screen. The Pokemon featured here is actually whichever Pokemon you've assigned to be the Leader of your Helper Team.
If you choose a Shiny Pokemon to be the leader of your Team, it will show up in its Shiny coloration on the Sleep Session screen.
It is recommended to choose Pokemon that gather the favorite Berries of your weekly Snorlax. Every Monday, you get a new Snorlax with new favorites, so make sure to take note of what your Snorlax of the week likes in order to better raise it.
Giving Snorlax its favorite Berries is a good way to increase Snorlax Strength. High Snorlax Strength can help you find more species of Pokemon.
You may want to keep a Pokemon with a useful Skill in your Helper Team. Skills can only activate when the Pokemon with that Skill is in your active Team.
If you're running out of ingredients to use for cooking meals, you may want to have a Pokemon with an Ingredient Finder skill in your Team. The first Pikachu you obtain is always nice to have around for its Charge Strength Skill, which can randomly boost Snorlax's Strength.

You can collect Dream Shard rewards as you play the game. Candies of your specific Pokemon line can be obtained randomly by your Helper Pokemon while they are out in the field. They can also be obtained by giving a Pokemon you've befriended to the Professor.

Most Pokemon evolve by reaching a certain level, but some Pokemon have different Evolution requirements. Many baby Pokemon require you to sleep for a certain number of hours while they are in your Pokemon Helper Team.

After a Sleep Session, you will be able to research the Sleep Styles of Pokemon who have gathered around Snorlax. These Pokemon can be befriended after you finish your research.
Give Biscuits to any Pokemon you want to add to your team until you max out their Friendship gauge.
Biscuit Guide: Befriending Pokemon and Friendship Level Rewards
The higher your Drowsy Power, the better your chances of seeing additional Pokemon sleeping around Snorlax after finishing your Sleep Session. This gives you more options for Pokemon to befriend, making it easier to find new species of Pokemon you don't have yet.
The amount of Drowsy Power needed to get more Pokemon to show up differs per research area.
If you have a Good Camp Set up, you get an additional Pokemon to research after your Sleep Session regardless of how much Drowsy Power you had for that session.
Good Camp Set Benefits: Is the Good Camp Ticket Worth It?
Premium Pass subscribers get access to a Good Camp Set once per month. They also get a Premium Bonus Biscuit every day instead of the regular Bonus Biscuit, which grants more Friendship Points.
