Entei is considered a Special Pokemon. You can only have one Special Pokemon on your team, which means you cannot combine two Entei or one Entei and one Raikou on your team.
Special Pokemon in Pokemon Sleep likely consist of Legendary Pokemon with more powerful main skills.

---|---|
Helper Boost (Fire) | Instantly gets you bonus help from all Pokemon on your team that increases in amount the more Fire-type Pokemon species are on your team. |

The Nature and sub skills of the first Entei you befriend will be the same for all players, and it is also the same as the first Raikou you befriended during the Raikou Research event. The ingredients and level, however, may vary.
Your first Entei will always have a neutral nature, not increasing or decreasing anything in particular. It has good sub skills for Skills Specialty Pokemon including Skill Level Up S and Skill Trigger S. The gold Sleep EXP Bonus is also an excellent first sub skill to have.
Nature | Increased Stat | Decreased Stat |
---|---|---|
Gentle | Main Skill chance | Energy recovery |
Careful | Main Skill chance | Ingredient finding |
Sassy | Main Skill chance | EXP gains |
The best nature for Entei is one that increases the chance of triggering main skills. Its main skill Helper Boost (Fire) is strong but only triggers rarely, so any increase in main skill chance is appreciated.

Although Entei can appear in Greengrass Isle and Taupe Hollow naturally, it is a very rare Pokemon, likely only available at a high Master Snorlax Rating.
Get Entei Incense from the Entei Event Exchange during the Entei Research Event, and use it during your sleep session to easily encounter Entei. Take note that you can only have one Entei Incense in your inventory at a time.
