Suck is a move that works like a water bucket, allowing you to inhale and spit out liquids to transfer them in Pokemon Pokopia. Check out how to learn Suck, how to transfer water and other liquids, and how to use this move in this guide!
List of Contents

The move Suck allows you to inhale liquids such as water, ocean water, hot-spring water, vending machine drinks, and even lava and spit them out to create another body of water elsewhere.
Suck functions like a water bucket in other sandbox games, allowing you to scoop up blocks of liquid and move them to another location to create another source for your chosen liquid.
It is recommended to find or build an empty pool that you can transfer the liquid to. A pool can be any area enclosed by blocks.
Spitting out a liquid onto an area that is not enclosed will cause the liquid to spread in an uneven mess and may accidentally flood nearby habitats.

Suck is taught by Paldean Wooper, who you should be able to befriend at Bleak Beach by creating a marshy tall grass habitat.
This requires you to place 4 yellow tall grass tiles beside a body of muddy water. A waterfall of muddy water can be found southwest of the Withered Wasteland gate.
Paldean Wooper Habitat and Specialty

Suck is taught during the Make a Waterfall request from Piplup. Piplup will have other requests for you to do beforehand, so make sure you've completed them.
You must talk to Piplup in order to trigger this request, since it will not automatically appear in your request list. You must also have finished rebuilding the Rocky Ridges Pokemon Center before this quest can appear.
Piplup will ask you to create a waterfall during this request and ask you to get help from Paldean Wooper in order to complete it.

To use suck, go to any body of water you wish to get. While facing the body of water, hold the Y button to inhale, and simultaneously press the ZR button to inhale the liquid. Ditto will keep the liquid in its mouth.
Go to the area where you want to make your new body of water. Face the area you want to fill and press A to spit out the liquid.
If you do not want to fill a new area with liquid and instead want to get rid of the water source, you can press B to gulp down the liquid. Take note that this will get rid of the liquid and will not be added to your inventory. Be cautious about using this if you do not have many water sources on your island to refill emptied pools.
