Events in Pokemon Pokopia occur when there is a Pokemon that is the talk of the town on your island. Check out a list of all events in the game, an updated Pokopia events calendar, as well as information for each event here!
*The events on this calendar are listed in UTC Time.
*Pokemon Pokopia Events begin at 5 AM local time.

The More Spores for Hoppip event is currently underway! This event runs from March 10 at 5 AM local time until March 25 at 4:59 AM local time.
Collect Cotton Spores in order to get event items and befriend the event-exclusive Pokemon Hoppip, Skiploom, and Jumpluff!
Event Guide: More Spores for Hoppip

An event featuring Bulbasaur will be held from April 19 at 5 AM local time until April 27 at 4:59 AM local time.
During this event, Bulbasaur will be hosting a Jump Rope contest where you can win various prizes and play along with your friends.

An event featuring Sableye will be held from April 29 at 5 AM local time until May 13 at 4:59 AM local time.
This event requires you to mine Red Crystal Fragments in Dream Islands to exchange for event-exclusive items.

You'll know if there's an active event if you are told that there is a Pokemon that's the "talk of the town." Visit any restored Pokemon Center, and talk to the event's featured Pokemon wandering outside it in order to start the event.

The event can only be started in areas that have their Pokemon Centers fully repaired. You will need to talk to the featured Pokemon to start the event, and then you will be able to purchase event items inside the Pokemon Center.
How to Rebuild the Pokemon Center

Cloud Islands, which are multiplayer islands separate from the main campaign, cannot host events. Even with a fully-built Pokemon Center, the event Pokemon cannot appear on a Cloud Island.

I like that the events are on Dream Islands because I don't feel pressured to race from one milestone to the next just to participate. It real is a play at your own pace game.
