Available on the Switch 2

Pokopia launches worldwide on March 5, 2026 for both digital and physical editions of the game. Digital versions should become accessible at midnight of your region's local time.

Ditto Rug

Pre-orders for the digital and physical editions of Pokopia are now available at various retailers as well as the Nintendo eShop. Select retailers also offer pre-order bonuses that you can claim with your game.

An early purchase bonus of a Ditto Rug is available for those who buy the game before January 31, 2027.

Exclusive for the Switch 2

Physical Edition

Pokopia is a Nintendo Switch 2 exclusive game, which means it is only available for purchase on Nintendo Switch 2 systems. However, someone on a Nintendo Switch can still play the game through GameShare if they have a friend with a Switch 2 and Pokopia.

Play Single-Player or Multiplayer

Pokopia can be played as a single-player game or as a multiplayer game, using either local or online multiplayer. Up to four players can work together on one island to build, craft, plant, or simply hang out.

GameShare

A player who has purchased Pokopia on a Nintendo Switch 2 system can use GameShare to play with another person who doesn't have a copy of the game.

The game can be shared on both Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 consoles but only for the duration of the GameShare session. The game will not remain on the receiving console once the GameShare session ends.
