There are various Habitats in Pokopia that you can restore using Moves and with items and furniture. Wild Pokemon can appear once you make the Habitat, and you'll be able to befriend them!

While exploring the land, you may find traces of Pokemon on the ground. Interact with these tiles and you will get a hint about a Habitat, which will be registered in your Habitat Dex.

Once you get a hint about a Habitat, you can then use Moves and place the required items and furniture to restore a Habitat. You can check which items and furniture are needed in the Habitat Dex.
You do not need to follow how the items are arranged in the Habitat's icon, but make sure to place them next to each other.

If you follow the requirements properly, a sparkle will appear which signals that you have built a Habitat as needed.
Once a Habitat is built, wild Pokemon can appear from the area and take residence there!

Once you make a Habitat, you can interact with the area to make a Pokemon that can appear in the respective Habitat show up. You can then befriend them and make them stay.
Pokemon that you befriend may ask for Requests, which are side quests, or teach you Moves that you can use to transform the land and add grass tiles and flowers, destroy stone blocks, cultivate soil, and more!

Do note that once a Habitat is alreayd occupied, you need to build another one for a new Pokemon to show up, as only one Pokemon can occupy an existing Habitat.

Pokemon that can appear in a habitat is affected by the current weather and the time of day. This means that different Pokemon may appear during the day or at night, or when it is sunny or rainy.
Some Pokemon are also less likely to appear due to their rarity, so make sure to create various habitats around the map!
All of these information can be checked from the Pokedex and the Habitat Dex.

Once you have built a house, which is any structure that has four walls and at least two blocks high, you can fill up the space with furniture to make it a fully-fledged house.
Once decorated, you can then bring a Pokemon with you, enter the building, and ask them to move into the house.

Habitats are areas where Pokemon that you meet in the game reside. As you explore and revitalize the land, you will create and restore Habitats around the map. Wild Pokemon can then appear and befriend you, and they will call their respective Habitats home!
