Camouflage Effects

Camouflage allows you to take the appearance of a nearby object to disguise yourself. This is mostly used for the Hide-and-Seek minigame that you can play with Zorua or with other players in multiplayer mode.

How to Learn Camouflage

Find Zorua at Bleak Beach

Zorua appears in Bleak Beach once you have completed the request that requires you to build your home. Wait for some time until a square block appears in front of the Pokemon Center. This square block will have a "....." white speech bubble above its head.

Use Rock Smash to punch the block to reveal the disguised Zorua.

Zorua Habitat and Specialty

Complete Zorua's Request

Once you befriend Zorua, talk to it again to receive a request. You will need to craft a Toy Block and give it to the Pokemon to complete the request. Doing so unlocks the Camouflage move.

How to Use Camouflage

Press ZR While Near an Object

Camouflage

Press ZR while near an object to copy its appearance. You can move around slowly while using Camouflage but you cannot speak with Pokemon in this state.

Use for Hide-and-Seek Minigame

Zorua Hide and Seek

Camouflage is used primarily for the Hide-and-Seek minigame. You can talk to Zorua to play it any time or invite friends to play the game in multiplayer mode.
