The Small Lost Relic and Large Lost Relic are the only items that can be used with Appraise Specialty. Lost Relics are found by digging up glowing blocks. These glowing blocks also spawn at random in all biomes.
How to Use Appraise Specialty
Give Lost Relic to Professor Tangrowth
The Appraise Specialty can be used after you give a Lost Relic to Professor Tangrowth. The Professor will quickly examine the Lost Relic and tell you what item you found.
Afterward, the Professor will give you the item as a reward. The item obtain from the Lost Relic is totally random and it can be a Habitat recipe, Item recipe, or an Item that you can use.
