The first event for Pokopia will be held for around two weeks, from Monday, March 9 to Tuesday, March 24, just a few days after the launch of the game.
This event gives players an opportunity to befriend Hoppip, Skiploom, and Jumpluff, who are not available in the game outside of this event.

Special cotton spores will appear during this event. This special item can be collected in your areas as you play through the game during the event.
Cotton spores collected during the More Spores for Hoppip event can be exchanged for picnic-themed items, which are likely event-exclusive. Make sure you exchange your cotton spores before the event ends!
Some of the picnic-themed event items can be used to create habitats and summon the featured event Pokemon.
During this event, there will be three Pokemon who will appear that are normally not in the game. These Pokemon are Hoppip, Skiploom, and Jumpluff.
Create habitats for these Pokemon using event items during the More Spores for Hoppip event in order to befriend them.

Cotton spores will only appear in areas that have their Pokemon Centers fully repaired.
Since Pokemon Centers may take a while to get built, try your best to progress the game, explore the different areas, and finish as many Pokemon Center construction projects before the event starts.
How to Rebuild the Pokemon Center

Cloud Islands, which are multiplayer islands separate from the main campaign, will not be part of the event. This means that Hoppip, Jumpluff, and Skiploom cannot appear in these Cloud Islands, and the special event items will also be unavailable.
