Pokemon cannot evolve in Pokemon Pokopia. Read on to learn if Pokemon can evolve, how to get evolved Pokemon, and how to befriend each member of a Pokemon's evolutionary line.

Pokemon Cannot Evolve

Pokemon From the Same Evolution Line Appear Separately
The Pokemon in this game cannot evolve. This may be due to the fact that there is only one Pokemon of each unique species.

Evolved Pokemon still appear in the game and can also be befriended. However, they will appear as separate characters and cannot be obtained by evolving its pre-evolution.

How to Befriend Evolved Pokemon

Create Separate Habitats

Eevee Habitat

In order to befriend each member of a Pokemon's evolutionary line, you will have to create separate habitats for them. Depending on the Pokemon, you may have to create different types of habitats to complete an evolution line.

For example, once Eevee has appeared in a habitat, you will still need to create 8 additional habitats in order to spawn its evolutions.

Expect to See Complete Evolutionary Lines
If you befriend a Pokemon, then you can expect that all members of its evolutionary line can be found in the game.

Pokemon are not necessarily found in evolution order. You may find the evolved form of a Pokemon before its pre-evolution. For instance, you may befriend Flaaffy first, then expect to see Mareep and Ampharos later on.
