Pokemon Pokopia - How to Use Vending Machines

You can get one drink a day from each vending machine in Pokemon Pokopia. Read on to learn how to use vending machines, what items you can get from them, and vending machine locations.

How to Use Vending Machines

Power the Vending Machine

Connect Vending Machines to a Source of Power
Place utility poles to create a line that connects from the vending machine to a power generator. These power sources include windmills, waterwheels, and furnaces.

You may find any of these power sources in the overworld. You may also purchase building kits for them in the PC Shop if you wish to place an additional one.

You may also temporarily power a vending machine with a Pokemon using the Generate Specialty.

Obtain the Utility Pole Recipe in Bleak Beach

Utility pole recipe location
The recipe for crafting utility poles is found on an island near the southwest corner of Bleak Beach. You can obtain it from a Pokeball near a furnace.

How to Craft Utility Poles

Receive a Random Drink Once a Day

Receive a Random Drink Once a Day
Once the vending machine is powered up, you may interact with it. Each vending machine will give you one random drink a day.

Move or Pick Up the Vending Machine

Use Strength on Vending Machines
You may want to move vending machines near generators in order to minimize the use of utility poles.

You may do this by picking them up with the Y button and placing them down again. Keep in mind that this will prevent you from receiving your daily drink if you have not used it yet. This will also remove the power from the vending machine if it was powered using Generate.

Alternatively, you may use Strength to push or pull them around.
