Gliding

Glide allows you to transform into Dragonite to glide and reach areas. This move is primarily used in Sparkling Skylands to reach the floating islands in the area.

How to Learn Glide

Find Dragonite at Sparkling Skylands

Dinghy Location

Dragonite is the Pokemon that teaches you Glide. To get Dragonite to spawn at Sparkling Skylands, you need to create the Waterside Dinghy habitat.

Head east from the Pokemon Center at Sparkling Skylands to reach a high-up location. Eat a Plain Salad to power up your Leafage to spawn Duckweeds next to the Canoe.

The hint for the Waterside Dinghy habitat appears after befriend Froakie by placing a Hydrated Pink Tall Grass habitat.

How to Use Glide

Press the R Button While in Air

Glide with Dragonite

Press the R Button while in air to transform into Dragonite. Use the Left Thumbstick to move as you are gliding to reach new areas. While gliding, you can hold the B Button to fly faster.

Much like other moves, Glide uses PP so you need to replenish it to avoid falling to the ground.
