Environment Level Guide

Environment Level can be raised by increasing the Comfort Level of Pokemon in Pokemon Pokopia. Learn how to raise Environment Level, what the maximum environment level is, and the rewards for raising it here!

How to Raise Environment Level

Befriend New Pokemon

Befriending Pokemon

The best way to raise your Environment Level is to befriend as many Pokemon as you can in an area. Pokemon can either spawn in habitats, or be encountered in the wild. If you encounter a Pokemon in the wild, you will need to build them a habitat according to their request in order to befriend them.

Build as many habitats as you can in order to spawn different types of Pokemon. Once a Pokemon appears, it is recommended to move it immediately into a house in order to free up the habitat for another Pokemon to spawn in.

Increase Comfort Level

Bulbasaur Comfort Level Increased
You will need to raise the Comfort Level of your Pokemon in order to raise the Environment Level. Comfort Levels can be increased by decorating habitats and houses according to a Pokemon's preference.

It's best to house Pokemon with similar preferences within the same area. The Pokemon will share the furniture you place as long as they're within the range of their habitats.

You can check the range of a Pokemon's habitat by pressing the Right Stick.

How to Increase Comfort Level

Ask Pokemon To Check On Their Comfort Level

Scyther Comfort Level

You can check on the Comfort Level of Pokemon by asking them "How's your comfort level?". This will allow you to see their current Comfort Level and receive hints on what a Pokemon is looking for.

A Pokemon will usually ask for food, a decoration, or a toy, so it's best to have those items within each of their habitats.

Check the Pokedex for Preferences

The Pokedex can show you the favorites and ideal habitats of specific Pokemon. When you decorate a home with a Pokemon's preferred items, it will greatly increase their Comfort Level.

Build Houses For All Pokemon

Moving a Pokemon to a House

The fastest way to increase your Environment Level is by moving Pokemon into houses instead of letting them stay in a habitat. Building homes for your Pokemon makes their Comfort Level increase faster and gives you more room to decorate.

More Shop Items

Unlock the Shop

Leveling up your Environment Level unlocks new shop items in the PC. This will get you access to more decorations, items, building kits, and habitat hints to improve your environment.

Shop items are shared across all Pokemon Center PCs. This means that once you unlock an item in the shop, you can purchase it from any PC in your game world.

However, if your Environment Level decreases, any shop items that were unlocked above your current level will be locked again.
