How to Get Stardust
Found on Dream Islands
Stardust is found on the Dream Islands. Stardust can be found on all of the Dream Islands, notably along the coasts or in sandy places.
Make sure to also check the other locations on the islands, such as the cave, since you might find some around.
How to Use Stardust
Used to Craft Star Piece
Stardust is used as a crafting material in Star Piece. You will need 99 Stardust to make one Star Piece, which can be found in the Other tab on your workbench.
When you collect your first Stardust, you will immediately unlock the recipe for Star Piece!

Give the Star Piece to Another Player's Pokemon
If you give a Star Piece to another player's Pokemon that came in your city via Link Play, you may trade it for a Souvenir.
