Palette Town serves as the game's main sandbox area, where you can freely build and terraform, without having much pre-existing terrain.

Players can freely decorate Palette Town, giving endless possibilities and combinations, literally serving as a blank Palette!

Shared Map in Multiplayer

Since Palette Town serves as the game's main sandbox area, this is the area shared to other players when playing in Co-Op.

Similarly, when visiting other players' Islands, you will also gain access to their version of Palette Town.

Palette Town can be found across the bridge from Withered Wastelands.

Players can start rebuilding Palette Town after completing the tutorial.

What to Do in Palette Town

Obtain Eeveelution Entries

Upon first entering Palette Town, players will be greeted by Eevee, who will give you the request to find its Friends.

Complete the different habitats for all the Eeveelutions to befriend them and have them inhabit Palette Town!

Reaching Palette Town will also unlock Special Challenges, which give you tasks to complete, and reward you with items required for the Eeveelution Habitats.

Similar to Daily Challenges, Special Challenges can be accessed from the PC, allowing you to view the tasks and rewards at any time.

Palette Town Can Be Renamed

While restoring Palette Town, you will be asked to Rename the Island, which you can do if you wish to not use the default name.

After the initial option, you can change the name anytime, simply by accessing a Pokemon Center PC.

Befriend the Legendary Birds

Articuno Encounter

You can acquire building kits that you can construct in Palette Town to befriend Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres. In addition, befriending all three Legendary Birds unlocks the recipe to craft the Sea Bell, an item that lets you summon Lugia.
