There is currently no information on what Smearguru does in your world. Design-wise, it looks like she could fulfill a similar role to Reese from Animal Crossing where it can change the design and color of certain items in exchange for materials.

They could also work like Blathers, where it can discern paintings and artworks from humans before they disappeared from the world.
