Leafage is a move that allows you to grow grass in Pokemon Pokopia. Check out the effects of Leafage, how to grow grass, and how to learn Leafage.

Leafage allows you to grow tall grass one square at a time. Since this is a Pokemon move, it consumes PP when used.
Tall grass can be used to create a habitat or be cut down in order to obtain the Leaf material.

If Leafage is used on dry, barren land, it will cause the resulting grass to also be dry. If you need it to be watered, you can use Water Gun on the grass or have it next to a water source.

Leafage can be learned from Bulbasaur, so you must first get a Bulbasaur to spawn in Withered Wasteland.
Bulbasaur's habitat is the simple tall grass habitat requiring 4 patches of Hydrated Tall Grass. If you find 4 patches of dry grass that are connected, you can use the Water Gun move to rehydrate them and form the tall grass habitat.
Bulbasaur Habitat and Specialty
Once Bulbasaur appears on your island, it may ask you to fulfill a simple request for it. Complete this request in order for Bulbasaur to teach you Leafage.

Make sure you have Leafage as your active move, which should be visible on the bottom right section of your screen. With Leafage as your active move, a single square should be highlighted in front of you, moving as you move.
Press ZR on your controller in order to have a patch of grass grow in the highlighted square.
