Obtained By Breaking Gold Ore Blocks

Break Gold Ore Blocks

Gold ore can be collected by using the Rock Smash move on Gold Ore blocks. However, you will need to enhance your Rock Smash by eating a Hamburger Steak because the block will be too tough to break with the standard move.

You can make and unlock the recipe for Hamburger Steak by progressing through the main story in Rocky Ridges.

The Gold Ore Block sits on the deeper level of the mine in Rocky Ridges, which can also be reached via the main story; just search for blocks with yellow ores.

Melt for Gold Ingot in a Smelting Furnace

Smelt Gold Ore for Ingots
Put the gold ores in the smelting furnace to produce gold ingots. To power up the furnace, you'll also need a Pokemon with the Burn specialty.
