How to Visit Dream Islands
Video Guide
Bring Drifloon a Doll
To unlock the Dream Island feature and use the Pokemon Specialty, you will need to have any doll in your inventory. Once you have one, you may speak to Drifloon to go to a Dream Island.
Obtain Dolls From Glowing Spots
Dolls can often be found in glowing spots. To get them, use Rock Smash on the block with the glowing spot.
Interact With a Doll to Summon Drifloon
You may also interact with a doll in the overworld to summon Drifloon. Keep in mind that Drifloon will still bring you to the same island as before even if you interact with a different Pokemon doll on the same day.
Visit One Dream Island Per Day
Players can only visit one Dream Island per day. This Dream Island is associated with one type of doll.
Players may this Dream Island as many times as possible within the day.
How to Use Dream Island Specialty
Talk to Drifloon to Reach Dream Islands
The Dream Island Specialty can only be used by talking to Drifloon, to reach the different Dream Islands. With that being said, there are no other Pokemon that has the Dream Island Specialty.

Find Drifloon at Withered Wasteland
The Dream Island location and Specialty is unlocked after finding Drifloon and creating its Riding warm updrafts habitat.
Drifloon can be found at the west side (left side) of Withered Wasteland, at the beach near the bridge that leads to Palette Town.

Each type of Dream Island is fixed, so you will not have to worry about rerolling for rare Dream Islands.
What to Do in Dream Islands
Collect Rare Items and Materials

Dream Islands may contain items and materials that you have not yet obtained. Some items, such as Stardust can only be found in Dream Islands. It is best to pick up as many items as you can.
Take Reference Photos
If you are running out of inventory space, you may opt to take Reference Photos of items in the Dream Island. This will allow you to duplicate these items using the Pokemon Center's 3D Printer.
Invite Legendary Pokemon to Your Island
There is a chance that you may meet certain Legendary Pokemon in Dream Islands. You may speak to them and invite them to live with you in your world.
Some Legendary Pokemon may require you to meet them in the main story first before you can find them in Dream Islands.
