The Gather Specialty can let Pokemon pick up items and other materials that can be found on the ground in Pokemon Pokopia. See the list of Pokemon with Gather Specialty and how to use it here in this guide!
Set up habitats that can attract Pokemon with the Gather Specialty, with the easiest one being the Boulder-shaded tall grass! The Boulder-shaded tall grass habitat can attract Pokemon such as Machop.
How to Build Every Type of Habitat
Players can relocate Gather Pokemon and their Habitats to other areas to help Ditto restore other wastelands.
However, we do recommend having at least one Gather Pokemon in each area instead of having them relocate every time you move to another area. This is to reduce the hassle and keep you engaged in finding new Pokemon to befriend.

Pokemon with the Gather Specialty will pick up items and materials they find on the ground. You can try placing community boxes near habitats of Pokemon with the Gather Specialty so that they can place the gathered items inside these boxes.

Additionally, Pokemon with the Gather Specialty can also bring materials that are stored inside community boxes to places where these materials can be processed, with one example being the Smelting Furnace.

You can try maximizing the effects of the Gather Specialty by placing other Pokemon nearby with the Litter Specialty, enabling you to optimize what your Pokemon can gather on the ground.
