Houses are an essential part of community building in Pokemon Pokopia. See how to build different houses and structures, what you can do with them, and what materials you need to build them here!
List of Contents

To start, Building Kits must be purchased from the PC Shop in order to begin the building process.
These come in limited stocks and replenish the next day, but that means you can only build up to a certain amount of new Houses each day.

With the Building Kit, find a suitable location of your choosing and set down the Building Kit to designate the area as a Construction area for the structure.

Interacting with the Construction area will put up a prompt asking for a set amount of materials for the building's construction. You must then find the needed materials and bring them there to satisfy this requirement.

Lastly, you must find an Eligible Builder Pokemon for the house and lead them towards it, where you can assign them to the house and they will begin to build it using the materials you have gathered.
This process will take a while, but once the Pokemon have started building, they will continue until it is completed, allowing you to do other things in the meantime while it builds.

Once the house is complete, its interior must then be furnished with at least three pieces of furniture to be designated as a proper house for Pokemon to live in.
Furniture can be crafted with appropriate materials at workbenches.

To get a Pokemon to live in a house, the first step is to ask them to follow you by walking up to them and selecting the Follow me! option.
How to Have Pokemon Follow You

Afterwards, you must lead them to the Completed house where you can assign them to it afterwards.
If you lead them to an incomplete house, you will instead be able to assign them to continue building it if they are eligible to build.
Sometimes, Pokemon might just like the house and the structure upon being led to it, and they will instead ask the player if they could live there, self-assigning into the home if the player approves.

Houses are much better living quarters to be in as opposed to the initial Habitats that are assigned to Pokemon, making them far happier and more accommodated.
In addition, you may also designate a house as your own living space, allowing you to live wih another Pokemon if you so choose.

As a House is a fairly advanced structure in a community-building game, building one helps raise the Environment Level as it helps make it more comfortable for Pokemon that decide to live in the house.
