The Sableye Event is the second event in Pokemon Pokopia, which allows you to find Sableye from April 29 to May 14. Read on for more information about this limited event, including the event mechanics and the featured Pokemon habitats.

Featured Pokemon ・Sableye

The second event for Pokopia will be held for around two weeks, from Wednesday, April 29 to Wednesday, May 13.

This limited event gives players an opportunity to befriend Sableye who is not available in the game outside of this event.

The Sableye Event will likely be a recurring event for the game, similar to the holiday events in Animal Crossing: New Horizons.

How to Start Sableye Event

Talk to Sableye In Front of the Pokemon Center

Sableye in Front of the Pokemon Center
During the day of the event, you will be notified that there is a Pokemon that's the talk of the town at the Pokemon Center. Go to the Pokemon Center in your town and talk to the Sableye in front.

After the interaction, the event will officially begin, and Sableye will go inside the Pokemon Center to set up the event shop.

Collect Red Crystal Fragments

Red Crystal Cluster
Red Crystal Clusters will appear in the caves of Dream Islands during this event, which you will have to break with Rock Smash to get Red Crystal Fragments. To make mining easier, learn Rollout or eat Hamburger Steak, which you can cook after freeing Chef Dente.

You can access Dream Islands by giving a doll to Drifbloom or interacting with one.

We highly recommend giving Drifbloom either a Clefairy Doll or an Arcanine Doll since the Dream Islands associated with these dolls have more caves and caverns, which is where Red Crystal Clusters like to spawn.

Obtain Camping-Themed Items

Sableye at the Pokemon Center
Red Crystal Fragments that were collected during the event can be exchanged at the Pokemon Center for camping-themed items, which are event-exclusive.

Some of the camping-themed event items can be used to create a habitat for the event featured Pokemon.

How to Build Every Type of Habitat

Befriend Limited-Time Pokemon

Befriending Sableye
During this event, you will be able to befriend Sableye who cannot be obtained outside of the event.

You will automatically befriend Sableye after talking to them at the Pokemon Center, but you can build its habitat, Treasure-Hunting Set, using the event items.

Only Available in Towns with Built Pokemon Centers

Event Pokemon Center

Sableye will only appear in areas that have their Pokemon Centers fully repaired. You will need to talk to Sableye to start the event.

Since Pokemon Centers may take a while to get built, make sure to progress the game, explore the different areas, and finish as many Pokemon Center construction projects before the event starts.

Not Available on Cloud Islands

Giant Ditto Building

Cloud Islands, which are multiplayer islands separate from the main campaign, will not be part of the event. This means that Sableye cannot appear in these Cloud Islands, and the special event items will also be unavailable.

Treasure-hunting Set

To create Sableye's Habitat, Treasure-Hunting Set, you will need to arrange an Adventure Kit, Map and Compass, and Treasure in at least a 2x2 grid.

You can trade Red Crystal Fragments for any of the above items from the Pokemon Center during the event. The shop items all have unlimited stock, so you can buy as many items as you want before the event ends.

The event features Sableye. Sableye is only befriendable through the event.

You can get Sableye by talking to them at the Pokemon Center, but to build them a habitat, you will need to exchange your fragments for items at the center!
