Pokemon Pokopia is a Switch 2 exclusive, but it can be played on Nintendo Switch consoles via GameShare. Learn how you can play Pokopia on Switch 1 and the platforms and consoles this game can be played on.
List of Contents

Pokemon Pokopia cannot be purchased or launched on the Nintendo Switch. However, players with a copy of the game on the Nintendo Switch 2 can use GameShare to let a nearby Switch system join their game.
GameShare allows co-op play with another console even if the other player doesn't own the game. This includes those who are using a Switch 1 if GameShare is done locally with the consoles in the same room.

GameShare players have many limitations in regards to what they can do. Features such as customization, building, and asking Pokemon to follow you are all limited to the host.
