Create a Habitat for a Rare Pokemon

If you want to find Rare Pokemon, you need to firstly pick out habitats that these particular Pokemon live in. You can check your Habitat Dex to see if a habitat has any rare Pokemon that can spawn there.

Hover over the silhouettes or question mark icons to see the Pokemon rarity.

Once you have sorted out which habitats you need, make as many as you need to in accordance to how many Rare Pokemon you want to try and attract from that habitat.

The longest part of this process now comes in waiting for this Pokemon to appear by the habitat, which can take an invariable amount of time depending on how lucky you are.

Rare Pokemon usually take longer than common Pokemon to appear. If you feel like you aren't getting any Pokemon spawns even if you have several available habitats, there's a chance your next Pokemon will be rare!

If it is taking too long and you are willing to sacrifice immersion, you can try to speed up the process by changing the time and day on your device to force new Pokemon spawns.
