Humidity measures how much water is in an area in Pokemon Pokopia, which may contribute to Pokemon comfort levels. See how to raise humidity, how to make a humid habitat, and a list of Pokemon with a humid ideal habitat in this guide!

The primary request that significantly increases humidity is Yawn Up a Storm! in the Withered Wasteland. To unlock this request, you first need to unlock Rock Smash and befriend Slowpoke.
Completing the quest raises humidity through several tasks, including making a working Horsea Fountain, expanding water flow, creating flower fields and hydrated tall grass habitats, and initiating a Rain Dance.
If your humidity is stuck at 71 during this request, you must talk to the Pokemon involved and progress the quest. Other methods will not increase your humidity, even if you water the entire area.

If you want to raise the humidity of an area after completing the Yawn Up a Storm! request, you can repeat any of the tips you learned during that quest in any area you want to raise the humidity of.
However, the fastest method is to build a Rain Dance site and ask a Water specialty Pokemon to do a Rain Dance. Rain can quickly raise the humidity of an area by watering all exposed dry plants and dry blocks.

Once you learn the Suck move from Piplup, you can suck up water tiles and create more bodies of water by spitting it out into an empty pool.
You can widen existing bodies of water by using Rock Smash on the terrain to increase its size. You can create rivers that flow through other areas of the map with this method.

You can also create new bodies of water by using Rock Smash on blocks with bubbles coming out of them. Breaking these rocks will cause water to flow out of them and spill down to any blocks below.
Make sure that there is an enclosed pool below the water source to catch the water flow. If the pool is not enclosed properly, the water may spill out and create a mess.

If you're trying to make a humid habitat in particular and not trying to raise the humidity of an entire biome, the best way to do it is to place their habitat or house beside a body of water.
Whether it's fresh water, ocean water, hot-spring water, or muddy water, any water tiles should contribute to a more humid habitat.
How to Build Houses and Structures

Flowers, trees, grass, and other vegetation can increase the humidity of a habitat. Make sure they're hydrated from the rain, from a body of water, or by using Water Gun, since dry and withered plants do not increase an area's humidity.
How to Plant Seeds to Grow Crops

Certain outdoor furniture such as sprinklers and fountains spread water around, which can increase the humidity level around the area.
Take note that these items must be in or near a body of water in order for them to work.

If there is no body of water near the area where you want to build your Pokemon's home, you may place a Water Basin inside their home or near their habitat. You will need to use Water Gun on the Water Basin to fill it up and increase humidity.

Checking the current humidity of an area requires you to talk to a Yawn specialty Pokemon and ask them to Yawn. You will be given a number that shows the humidity for the area you're currently in.
Take note that Yawn only shows the humidity of an entire biome. It cannot measure the humidity of individual habitats.
Currently, the only Yawn specialty Pokemon in the game is Slowpoke.
Yawn Specialty Guide: How to Check the Humidity

Some Pokemon require an ideal environment for their habitat, and doing so increases their comfort level. Check the Pokemon's Pokedex entry in order to see its habitat preferences.
