Professor Tangrowth

Professor Tangrowth is a special Tangrowth that serves as the Pokemon Professor in Pokopia. It used to live with a human professor who happens to own the pair of glasses that Tangrowth has on its chest.

This special Pokemon will be the one to guide you when you first start the game.

DJ Rotom
DJ Rotom is a new Rotom form that allows players to change the music in-game. To-do this, you will need to give them CDs so that you can unlock new music tracks to select.

Chef Dente

Chef Dente
Chef Dente is a Greedent who will teach the player how to cook meals. These can then be given to other Pokemon, or consumed by the player to power up your moves.

Other Possible NPCs

Pokopia - SmearguruSmearguru Pokopia - PeakychuPeakychu Pokopia - MosslaxMosslax

Three special Pokemon were revealed in the Pokopia extended trailer: Smearguru, Peakychu, and Mosslax.

Smearguru is a Smeargle covered in paint and was shown in the trailer to be painting on a canvas. Peakychu is an unusually pale, glowing Pikachu. Mosslax is a moss-covered Snorlax with a flower on its head that may have been asleep for a long time.

Not much else is known about these Pokemon at the moment, but they will likely serve as important characters to the story or as useful NPCs.
