The Deathclaw Gauntlet has the highest base damage out of all unarmed weapons and you can annihilate your enemy in a single V.A.T.S. turn. As a bonus, it has incredible finisher animations if you want to kick it up a notch during your unarmed playthrough.

Power Fist's damage falls a bit short compared to the Deathclaw Gauntlet, but it still dishes out higher damage over the other unarmed weapons below its tier. This is the best unarmed weapon to use until you can get your hands on a Deathclaw Gauntlet.
