Settlement in Southern Commonwealth
The Spectacle Island is an island located in the southeast of The Castle. You will need to swim your way from the mainland to get to this island.
How to Unlock Spectacle Island Settlement
Activate the Circuit Breaker Inside the Green Sunken Ship
When you arrive at Spectacle Island, the place cannot be used as a Settlement. Go to the southernmost part of the island and go inside the green sunken ship.
It is best to have strong weapons before activating the circuit breaker inside as this will summon Mirelurks and a Mirelurk Queen outside of the sunken ship.
After defeating the Mirelurks, go back to where the Workshop is and activate the circuit breaker there to unlock the Workshop function in the island and claim Spectacle Island as a settlement.
Avoid the Mirelurks and go to the Workshop to Activate the Circuit Breaker
After activating the circuit breaker inside the sunken ship, you can opt to avoid the Mirelurks instead and just run towards the Workshop area in the center of the island to activate another circuit breaker.
This will activate the sonic pulse which will stun the Mirelurks, making it easier to fight them.
