The Glowing Sea Objectives
- Find Virgil in the Glowing Sea

Find Virgil in the Glowing Sea

Virgil's last known location is at the Crater of Atom, which is on the edge of the Glowing Sea.
This a dangerous area on the southwest corner of the map filled with high levels of radiation, as well Radscorpions and Feral Ghouls, so make sure to bring a lot of Radaways and your best weapons to fend off the wildlife living in the area.
Ask Mother Isolde for Virgil's Whereabouts
Upon arriving at the Crater of Atom, talk to Mother Isolde and ask where Virgil is. She will tell you that Virgil is residing in a rocky cave nearby.
Enter the Rocky Cave

Go southwest from the Crater of Atom and enter the Rocky Cave. There is a high chance that you will run into a Deathclaw outside the cave's entrance. If you're low level, we recommend running past it and head inside the cave quickly.
Talk to Virgil
Inside the cave, walk past the friendly security turrets and talk to Virgil, who is in fact a Super Mutant. Inform him that you need help in getting into the Institute. He will then tell you that you need to kill an Institute Courser to obtain a chip that will teleport you to the Institute.
The Glowing Sea quest will then conclude here and will immediately begin the Hunter/Hunted quest.
