The Castle is a Settlement Site map location in Fallout (FO4). Find out The Castle's location, valuable loot, the related quests, as well as how to unlock The Castle as a settlement and how to power it up.
The Castle Location
Eastern Part of Boston
The Castle is located at the eastern shore of Boston. It is located at the east of General Atomics Factory and South Boston Police Department.
You will eventually go to The Castle, during the Minutemen quest, Taking Independence.

How to Get The Castle Settlement
Complete Taking Independence
You can unlock The Castle as a settlement after completing the Minutemen quest, Taking Independence.

How to Power Up The Castle
Build a Generator
Build a medium or large generator and connect it to the wirings in The Castle. This should give The Castle enough power.
The Castle Quests
Taking Independence
Taking Independence is a Minutemen quest where the player needs to wipe out Milelurks to claim The Castle back for the Minutemen.
Taking Independence Walkthrough
Old Guns
Old Guns is a Minutemen quest where Ronnie Shaw and the player navigates the Castle Tunnel and build an artillery piece in the Castle.
