Emogene Takes a Lover Objectives

1. Talk to Edward Deegan
2. Ask Around the Third Rail for Emogene (Optional)
3. Rescue Emogene at Charles View Amphitheater
4. Talk to Emogene After Freeing Her
5. Return to the Cabot House

Talk to Edward Deegan

Speak to Edward Deegan at the Cabot House to learn that Emogene had run off somewhere. Agree that you'll find her and Edward will instruct you to begin by asking around the Third Rail in Goodneighbor for Emogene's whereabouts.

Ask Around the Third Rail for Emogene (Optional)

Go to the Third Rail in Goodneighbor and talk to Whitechapel Charlie about Emogene, who then points you to Magnolia. Ask her politely where Emogene can be found. Ham will then come along to give you a flyer from Brother Thomas, who Emogene ran off with according to Magnolia.

Note: You can skip this step and proceed directly to Charles View Amphitheater.

Rescue Emogene at Charles View Amphitheater

Travel to the Charles View Amphitheater and talk to Brother Thomas. At this point, you can Bribe, Threaten, or Persuade Brother Thomas to free Emogene.

Alternatively, you can lockpick the door to his office to set her free.

Talk to Emogene After Freeing Her

Once Emogene is free, speak to her and she'll reveal that the serum, previously seen in the Special Delivery quest, actually halts aging. She will then leave on her own afterward.

Return to the Cabot House

Go back to the Cabot House to end the quest. You'll then see Jack talking to Edward over a HAM Radio. The latter is heard defending the asylum from an attack. With this, The Secret of Cabot House quest will then begin.
