Is Ricochet Worth It?

Only If You're Going for a Tanky Build

Ricochet is a perk that's suited for players who opted to go for a tanky build. This perk requires you to take a lot of damage from enemies as bullets will bounce off your body and back towards the enemy.

Otherwise, players can skip this perk entirely if they did not invest enough points in Endurance for high health or other perks that increases their damage resistance.

Ricochet Ranks

Rank Required Lvl. Description
Rank 1 - An enemy’s ranged attack will sometimes ricochet back and instantly kill them. The closer you are to death, the higher the chance.
Rank 2 29 There’s an increased chance that an enemy’s shot will ricochet back and kill them.
Rank 3 50 When an enemy’s shot ricochets back and kills them, there is a chance your Critical meter gets filled.

How to Get Ricochet

Unlock Ricochet at Luck 10

Ricochet is on Luck Level 10

The Ricochet perk is unlocked when your Luck is at Level 10. You can start at this level by assigning 10 points to Luck during the Registration Form at the start of the game. Otherwise, you can get to this level by collecting SPECIAL magazines or bobbleheads and spending perk points upon level up.

After getting to Luck 10, you're free to spend perk points on ranking up the skill, as long as you are at the required character level to rank up.
