Quest Giver | Lookout |
To begin the quest, you will need to go to USS Constitution which can be found just beside Bunker Hill.
Talk to Lookout and the quest will begin. He will ask you to talk to Captain Ironsides.
Head inside the bank and go upstairs until you find a hatch, this will lead you inside the ship.
Go all the way up until you reach First Mate, from there go up the ladder one last time and find another hatch that leads to the surface of the ship, the Captain is here, talk to him, and accept the task.
If you pass a Charisma check, you can ask for rewards up front and get 100 Caps.
After the conversation with the Captain, the ship will be attacked by Scavengers. Help them repulse the attack by activating the cannons beside you, attacking them from aboard the ship, or going down and dealing with them one by one.
Once enough Scavengers have been taken down, they will retreat and you can continue with your quest.
After the Scavengers retreat, head down the latch and talk to Bosun. He will ask you for repairs on the ship.

Return to Bosun After successfully repairing or replacing the Power Relay, return to Bosun to finish this part of the quest. |
After repairing the ship, head outside and find Mr. Navigator just after exiting the USS Constitution. He will ask you to get the Guidance Chip from the Scavengers.
Make sure to have the quest marked so you will know where to go. The Guidance Chip is located not far from the Ship, travel to the designated marker via your map, Find Mandy Stiles and talk to her.
Mandy will try to convince you to join forces with them but this is not recommended as if you do, the quest ends with them trying to kill you.
However, you can pretend to side with them and change your mind later on to avoid violence in getting the Guidance Chip. Do this to avoid fighting.
After peacefully getting the Gudance Chip, climb aboard the ship again and install the chip in the Core Guidance System. Talk to Mr. Navigator afterward at the forefront of the ship to get 250 Caps as a reward.
