Speak to Father

Fallout 4 - Speak to Father

Go back to the Institute after finishing Airship Down and speak to Father for the last time. He and the player will have a heart to heart talk on his deathbed and tells you to that your time together, as short it may be, is precious to him and that you should look forward to the future.

The scene afterwards will show the events that happened to the player's life from the pre-war era until their journey throughout the post-war Commonwealth.

This mission marks the end of the Institution questline after watching the montage. You will be able to freely explore the Commonwealth after this mission.
