Intimidation lets you pacify a human enemy and command them to drop their weapons. Players who tend to avoid fights should definitely pick up this perk, especially for those who went with a non-combat build.

Cap Collector lets you save up a lot of caps since it grants better buying and selling prices at all vendors. You can even invest 500 caps at a store to raise its buying capacity!

What Does Charisma Affect?

Persuasion and Price Bartering

Charisma affects your persuading capabilities and price bartering. It doesn't directly involve the ability to tame animals and boost companions unless you unlock the perks under it that improve those!

Unlocks Charisma Perks

Ranking up your Charisma will allow you to unlock the perks under its category. These perks can increase your persuasion and bartering skills and learn to tame animals.

You also need to increase your player level, as it is one of the requirements to unlock the upgrades of the perks!
