Is Medic Worth It?

Yes, to Increase Survivability

Medic is a useful perk to have to increase your chances of surviving in the wasteland, since it generally boosts the amount of health a Stimpak can recover and amount of radiation that a RadAway can remove.

At Rank 4 of Medic, Stimpaks can restore all lost Health and RadAways can now heal up all radiation damage, making this a worthy perk to have if you often find yourself taking damage!

Rank Required Lvl. Description
Rank 1 - Stimpaks restore 40 percent of lost Health, and RadAway removes 40 percent of radiation.
Rank 2 18 Stimpaks now restore 60 percent of lost Health, and RadAway removes 60 percent of radiation.
Rank 3 30 Stimpaks restore 80 percent of lost Health, and RadAway removes 80 percent of radiation.
Rank 4 49 Stimpaks and RadAway restore all lost Health and radiation and work much more quickly.

How to Get Medic

Unlock Medic at Intelligence 2

Medic is on Intelligence Level 2

The Medic perk is unlocked when your Intelligence is at Level 2. You can start at this level by assigning 2 points to Intelligence during the Registration Form at the start of the game. Otherwise, you can get to this level by collecting SPECIAL magazines or bobbleheads and spending perk points upon level up.

After getting to Intelligence 2, you're free to spend perk points on ranking up the skill, as long as you are at the required character level to rank up.
