Echoes of the Past Objectives

1. Go to the Last Known Location of the Missing Caravan
2. Defeat the Ambush
3. Find the Soldiers' Orders
4. Reach the Field Camp
5. Kill the Enclave Soldiers
6. Download the Homing Beacon Frequency
7. Track the Homing Beacon in the Glowing Sea
8. Clear the Atlantic Offices of Enclave Soldiers
9. End the Lockdown
10. Kill All Remaining Enclave Soldiers

Go to the Last Known Location of the Missing Caravan

Location
Overworld

Go to the lone road, West of the Museum of Witchcraft to look for traces of the missing caravan. If you haven't discovered the museum yet, it is situated on the northeast corner of the map.

Defeat the Ambush

Defeat all the Enclave Soldiers that will ambush you along the road. They will jump you out of nowhere, but luckily there are cars around the highway that can provide you with decent cover.

One of the soldiers is wearing the Enclave Hellfire Power Armor, so make sure to pick that up as it comes with an impressive amount of damage and energy resistance.

Find the Soldiers' Orders

Pick up the Soldiers' Orders from one of the dead Enclave soldiers and read it. You can read it by opening your Pip-Boy and navigating to INV > MISC.

Reach the Field Camp

Location
Overworld

Make your way to the Field Camp, which is underneath a broken highway directly North of where you were ambushed earlier by the Enclave.

Kill the Enclave Soldiers at the Camp

Once at the Field Camp, kill all three Enclave Soldiers in the camp. You may want to divert your attention on the laser turret first, before dealing with the grunts.

Download the Homing Beacon Frequency

Access the Enclave Operations Terminal nearby and download the Homing Beacon Frequency.

Track the Homing Beacon in the Glowing Sea

Proceed to the Glowing Sea located on the southwest corner of the map and begin tracking the homing beacon. On the top left of your screen, you will see the signal's strength, which gets stronger the more you get closer to the beacon's location.

Clear the Atlantic Offices of Enclave Soldiers

The beacon will lead you the Atlantic Offices where you will have to clear the building of Enclave Soldiers. The first soldier that you'll encounter is equipped with the Enclave X-02 Power Armor, so don't forget to snatch it from his dead corpse!

How to Get Enclave X-02 Power Armor

End the Lockdown

Kill the Enclave Colonel and retrieve the Terminal Key from him. Use it to access the CO's terminal beside the Colonel to end the lockdown.

Kill All Remaining Enclave Soldiers

Ride the elevator near the terminal to reach the rooftop, where you will fight some more Enclave reinforcements. Grab the Tesla Cannon from one of the soldiers and use it to destroy the Vertibird. Once all soldiers have been dealt with, the quest will end here.
