Powering Up is an Institute Faction Quest in Fallout 4 (FO4). Read on for a full Powering Up walkthrough and learn Powering Up location and rewards.

Go to the Institute and speak with Father. He will ask the player to deliver a speech about the Institute's proclamation to Commonwealth. He will give you an announcement script about the whole speech.
Go to the microphone which is in the same room as Father and record the speech. You can choose any dialogue option here and not follow Father's script in which he will make a comment about it if you didn't follow it.
Talk to Father again and he will tell you to go to Diamond CIty to reconfigure the transmitter so the speech will be delivered on a wider range.
Go follow the quest marker and enter Diamond City Radio. Inside you will need to get 3 radio things and place them on the correct rack. Here are the correct placements:
After reconfiguring the transmitter, go back to The Institute and make your way to the reactor room to speak with Father. He will tell you to activate the reactor.
Install the beryllium agitator to the reactor which is obtained from a previous quest, Mass Fusion. After installing the agitator, interact with the terminal to activate the reactor.
Attend the Directorate Meeting after speaking with Father. The other members will tell you of their plans to destroy the Brotherhood of Steel and no matter what you choose, their decision is final.
The quest will end after the meeting and will automatically start the next Institute quest.
