How to Use Companion Perk IDs

Use Console Commands to Get Companion Perks Instantly

  1. Press the Tilde Button on the Keyboard
  2. Type in the Command and Hit Enter
  3. Exit the Console With the Tilde Button

Fallout 4 - Open Console Command

Console Command is a unique feature exclusively for PC and isn't available when playing the game via other platforms.

The Tilde Button is the (~) button found below the Esc key on the keyboard. By pressing this, you will be able to open the console.

2. Type in the Command and Hit Enter

Command player.addperk [perk id]
Example player.addperk 0004d889

3. Exit the Console With the Tilde Button

By pressing the Tilde Button (~) again, you can exit the console and the Companion Perk ID that you have typed in the console will be added to the Perk tab on your Pip-Boy.

Use Console Commands to Remove Companion Perks

While you can add Companion Perks for your character, it is also possible to remove them. Press the tilde (~) key to open the console command and type the following code:

player.removeperk [perk id]
