Airship Down Objectives

Speak to Doctor Li

After speaking with Father during End of the Line, he will instruct you to talk to Doctor Li as she will tell you of the Institute's next plans.

They will reveal of the plan to infiltrate the airport and hack Liberty Prime to destroy The Institute's archnemesis, The Brotherhood of Steel. Orman will also give you of the Institute Beacons which you can use to summon synths to protect you.

Note that if Doctor Li defected from The Institute in an earlier mission, Doctor Watson will take her place instead for this mission.

Use the Relay to Reach the Airport

Go to the central elevator of the Institute to get into the relay. The relay will teleport you to Boston Airport where the Brotherhood is.

Infiltrate the Terminal

After arriving at the airport, you will need to go to the terminal which is marked with an objective marker.

Many Brotherhood members will attack you upon your arrival. Make sure that you are fully equipped with strong weapons and armor, as well as bringing food to survive the Brotherhood's wrath.

Destroy Brotherhood Generators

Upon reaching the terminal, your next mission is to destroy 3 Brotherhood generators. They are scattered around the base and will be guarded by Brotherhood members so be careful when dealing with them.

Reach Liberty Prime

After destroying the generators, synths will come to your aid as you try to go towards Liberty Prime's head.

Defend the Synth Hacking Liberty Prime

Once you reach the top of Liberty Prime, you will need to defend the Synth that is uploading the virus to hack Liberty Prime. During this section, many Brotherhood members will attempt to stop the synth including Elder Maxson who is attacking via his vertibird.

It is recommended to stay close to the Synth instead of going down Liberty Prime in order to properly defend it. Once the hacking progress reaches 100%, you will be tasked to evacuate the area.

It is also possible that you'll fight Elder Maxson on the ground if his vertibird gets destroyed. You can obtain his exclusive weapon, Final Judgement.

Evacuate the Airport

After the hacking is complete, you will be tasked to evacuate the airport. The player will automatically be teleported to a safe area, with the Prydwen being destroyed by Liberty Prime alongside itself, ending the mission.
