This is an interactive map to all Fusion Core locations in Fallout 4 (FO4). Learn about all locations of Fusion Cores, how to recharge Fusion Cores, the Console Command ID and how to get more Fusion Cores for your Power Armor.

How to Use the Interactive Map

The Interactive Map both shows the location of key points on the map, and doubles as a collectible checker.

1. Click an icon on the right side to show all the pins of a specific type, or click the magnifying glass button to search for a specific pin by name.
2. Click a pin on the map to see its name and description, and a relevant picture or video if available.
3. From here, click Mark as Acquired to indicate that you've gotten a collectible already. This will change its icon on the map to show that it has been collected, and add 1 to that pin type's Counter.
4. To undo this, click on the same pin and click Restore to unclaimed.
5. To check how many pins you have marked so far, check the Counter in the bottom left, and click the icon that looks like a checklist to see counters for all pin types.
6. If the collected pins start to get in the way, you can hide them all by clicking the green Show Pins button on the left side.

Icon	How to Use
	Show Names This button reveals the Name of every icon currently shown.
	Show Pins This button will toggle between showing and hiding all the pins which you have already marked as acquired.
	Fullscreen This button will change the map display to fill the screen.
	Search Mode Toggle This button will display a searchbar which you can use to search for an individual pin by its name.
	Icon Mode Toggle In Search Mode, this button will toggle you back to Icon Mode, removing the search bar and displaying the icons again.
	All Pins This button is shown along with the Icons on the right when there are over 6 types of pins. Click it for a full selection of all available pin types.
	Counter Tracks the number of pins you have of a certain type. The pin type shown is set to the page and currently cannot be changed; however, all pin type counters can be viewed by clicking the checklist icon on the right side.
	View All Counters This icon is found on the right side of the Counter. When a map has more than one pin type, click this icon to see Counters for all pin types.
	Zoom In / Zoom Out This icon is found on the top left side of the map. You can press these buttons, or use your scroll wheel while hovering, to Zoom In and Out of the interactive map.

The difficulty describes how dangerous the region of the Fusion Core location is with Easy having weaker enemies to Hard diffculty giving you tough enemies to fight.

Easy / Early Fusion Cores

	Location: Museum of Freedom (Lexington and Northwest) How to Get: During When Freedom Calls quest, Sturges will inform you of the fusion core in the basement.
	Location: Red Rocket Truck Stop (Lexington and Northwest) How to Get: Inside the cave under the truck stop. Entrance of cave is behind the phonebooth on the south of the truck stop.
	Location: Lonely Chapel (Lexington and Northwest) How to Get: Walk through the basement past the Legendary Raider. Check the small, locked room on the left.
	Location: Concord Civic Access (Lexington and Northwest) How to Get: Go to the end of the waterway.
	Location: Super Duper Mart (Lexington and Northwest) How to Get: Once inside, go to the left and enter the door then go to the right and enter the doorway and enter the broken wall on the left. Immediately go right and you will see where the Fusion Core is located.
	Location: Tenpines Bluff (Lexington and Northwest) How to Get: On the Power Armor locked inside the cage on the crashed train car. Hack the Advanced Terminal inside the train car to open the cage.
	Location: South of Drumlin Diner (Lexington and Northwest) How to Get: Go to the south of Drumlin Diner and look for a crashed train car. In the Power Armor locked inside the cage on the train car. Hack the terminal inside the train car to open the cage.

Medium / Mid-Game Fusion Cores

	Location: Skylanes Flight 1981 (North Central) How to Get: In the luggage deck containing the lock box is a fusion core. You need Expert level Lockpick)
	Location: North of ArcJet Systems (Western) How to Get: Behind a shed north of ArcJet Systems
	Location: Taffington Boathouse (North Central) How to Get: In the Malden Drainage area
	Location: Compound (North Central) How to Get: In the sewers of the compound
	Location: Federal Ration Stockpile (Western) How to Get: Fusion is at the back of the bunker
	Location: Mass Fusion Containment Shed (North Central) How to Get: Go to the entrance to the right and then climb up the blue stairs and then go inside the room at the top to hack the Supervisor's Terminal to open the locked door downstairs. Go back downstairs and enter the opened door and go towards the generator to grab the Fusion Core.
	Location: Medford Memorial Hospital (North Central) How to Get: Climb up the stairs to the second floor and then go left. Enter the door next to the locked door, go straight and go to the second left and you will see the generator.
	Location: Malden Center (North Central) How to Get: Ride the elevator to the lower level and once at the bottom, go right to go to the generator.
	Location: National Guard Training Yard (North Central) How to Get: Go inside the crate where a Power Armor is located. You need to lock pick the Security Gate inside the crate to access the Power Armor.
	Location: West of Finch Farm (North Central) How to Get: Go west of Finch Farm until you see a green truck. Go inside the back of the truck and there will be a Power Armor containing a Fusion Core.
	Location: North of Mass Pike Interchange (Western) How to Get: Go ride the lift to go up the highway and then go right until you come across a Power Armor.
	Location: Vitale Pumphouse (Near Finch Farm) (North Central) How to Get: Go inside the bunker to go to the pumphouse. Once in the pumphouse, you will see 4 buttons. The answer can be found on the wall under the staircase where you came from. Enter the door to approach the generator.
	Location: South Boston Military Checkpoint (Boston) How to Get: Hack the terminal on the side of the building near a broken black car to open the locked gate containing a Power Armor. Terminal is at Expert level.
	Location: Kendall Hospital (Boston) How to Get: Ride the elevator to go to the top floor. Go to the room with the baby cribs and then towards the room with enemies. Jump down and go towards the hole in the wall to proceed to the generator.
	Location: South Boston Military Checkpoint (Boston) How to Get: Go under the bridge near the chcekpoint to see the generator.
	Location: BADTFL Regional Office (Boston) How to Get: Back Alley - on the roof across from the BADTFL.
	Location: Layton Towers (Boston) How to Get: On the first floor of Layton Towers. Go right immediately after entering the building to see the generator.
	Location: Wilson Atomatoys Factory (Boston) How to Get: Head inside, go straight and then left and then immediately right to see the generator.
	Location: Charles View Amphitheater (Boston) How to Get: Go to the road and go to the destroyed building on the right, Go to the top and then go jump to the other building to go to the generator on the roof.
	Location: North of North Old Church (Boston) How to Get: On a Military Barge. A Power Armor is locked inside a cage. Needs to hack the terminal near it to open it. (Novice level)
	Location: D.B. Technical High School (Boston) How to Get: Inside the hole in the wall next to a locker room with a bunch of dead bodies hanging from the ceiling.
	Location: Hesters Consumer Robotics (Boston) How to Get: Fast travel to Hesters Consumer Robotics, and then once spawning, go left and straight until you see two mannequins standing near a chair. Beside them is a Fusion Core on the ground.
	Location: Four Leaf Fishpacking Plant (Boston) How to Get: Go to the top of the building for the generator.
	Location: Four Leaf Fishpacking Plant (Boston) How to Get: Go inside the Factory building which is located across the Plant. Go inside and follow the path to see the generator.
	Location: Gwinnett Brewery (Boston) How to Get: On top of one of the building with a fire escape stairs.

Hard / Late-Game Fusion Cores

	Location: Longneck Lukowski's Cannery (Coastal) How to Get: Go to the basement area.
	Location: Near Coastal Cottage (Coastal) How to Get: Go inside the door under the bridge that leads to a hideout where a generator is located.
	Location: Cutler Bend (Natick) How to Get: Check the white overturned boat in the middle. Dive underwater to see the Fusion Core.
	Location: Atlantic Offices (Natick) How to Get: Inside the generator on the roof of the building.
	Location: Cave in the Glowing Sea region (Natick) How to Get: A Power Armor is stationed inside the cave containing the Fusion Core
	Location: Boston Police Rationing Site (Quincy and Southern) How to Get: To access the building, jump on the containers near the building to go to the top. Use these containers to go the other side of the building where the hole is. Use this hole to enter inside and then go inside the Utility Tunnel(Door under the red light). Continue onwards until you see the generator.
	Location: Fallon's Department Store (Quincy and Southern) How to Get: Climb up the stairs on the right side of the building outside until the top floor. Go forward and then left to climb another flight of stairs to see the generator inside a shack.
	Location: Milton General Hospital (Quincy and Southern) How to Get: Go inside the building with the arrow signs pointing on a doorway. Once inside, go straight and then right and then right again and you will see another button puzzle. Press the first and third button.
	Location: Gunners Plaza (Quincy and Southern) How to Get: Go to the back of the building to see a staircase. Climb the staircase until the top. You will see an egg shaped shack containing the generator.
	Location: Suffolk County Charter School (Quincy and Southern) How to Get: Generator deep down Suffolk County Charter School
	Location: Wilson Atomatoys Factory (Quincy and Southern) How to Get: Go to the right side of the building to see the generator.
	Location: Quincy Ruins (Quincy and Southern) How to Get: The first Fusion Core is on a toolbox in the church.
	Location: Quincy Police Station (Quincy and Southern) How to Get: Go to the desk in the second floor and there will be a box containing the Fusion Core.

How to Recharge Fusion Core

Use the Power Armor Station to Charge Your Fusion Core

One of the most common ways to charge up your Fusion Core is to go to the nearest Power Armor station and placing the Fusion Core to the station's inventory. This will initiate the recharge process and the percentage of the Fusion Core's power will raise gradually.

If you're on PC, you can obtain a Fusion Core through accessing the Console Commands. Just press the (`) button and then type player.additem 00075FE4. Press Enter afterwards to get a Fusion Core.

How to Get More Fusion Cores

Loot from Sentry Robots

It is possible to get one or two Fusion Cores by looting Sentry Robots after defeating them or making them self destruct.

Talk to Erin Upon Completing Here Kitty, Kitty

Talk to Erin upon completing the side quest Here Kitty, Kitty on Vault 81 to get a Fusion Core. Note that Fusion Core obtained through this is by chance and that it might not be even given to you.

Pickpocket Brotherhood of Steel Members

You can also pickpocket Fusion Cores from the Power Armor of Brotherhood of Steel members. This will force them to get out of their power suit since there's nothing powering up their armor after looting the Fusion Core.

What are Fusion Cores?

Batteries for Power Armor and Gatling Gun

Fusion Cores are mainly used to activate Power Suits. Walking with a Power Suit drains the energy of Fusion Core but not as much as when doing actions using AP such as sprinting, holding breath when using scoped weapons, using V.A.T.S or using jet packs.

Fusion Cores can also be used to power up a Gatling Laser with each core giving 500 shots.
