How to Use Ballpoint Splatling Effectively

Adjust when to release your charge depending on the enemy's distance.

Time your charges well, when an enemy Inkling is afar and has not seen you yet, it's better to fully charge your weapon until your target becomes close to maximize the damage of the Ballpoint Splatling.

Use the Quick Charge capability of this weapon against waves of enemies.

You can quickly recharge your weapon again in the middle of firing charged shots. This is useful when you are facing multiple enemies at once and need another hail of ink to unleash again.

Initiate the Inkjet from a safe location before pushing forward to create a path your team can take.

Create pathways for your team by using the Ink Jet to fly in the air to gain better visibility of the map to shoot and tag turfs with ink for your team to use when pushing up.
