Mewtwo is first encountered by completing the Rebuild the huge building! Important Request in Sparkling Skylands. After meeting Mewtwo in the main story, you can visit the Dream Island where it resides.
| 1 | Build the Skyland building 2F You will first need to build the Skyland building 2F, which you can reach once you've progressed a certain point in the game. Inspect the building kit to learn what you'll need during the construction. You will need materials such as Concrete x25, Glass x10, Pokemetal x5, and Iron Inggot x10. Once you've collected enough materials, assemble a total of six Pokemon with one of those six being Tinkmaster as its specialty is Engineer. |
|---|---|
| 2 | Build the Skyland building 3F For Skyland building 3F, you will need materials such as Concrete x25, Glass x10, Glowing Stone x10, and Copper Inggot x15. You will need to assemble a total of 15 Pokemon with two of them being Tinkmaster and Greedent as both their Engineer and Illuminate specialties are needed. |
| 3 | Build the Skyland building 4F For the final part of the building, you will need materials such as Concrete x40, Glass x15, Paper x10, Brick x10, and Lumber x20. Additionally, you will need to assemble a total of 10 Pokemon with two of them being Tinkmaster and Peakychu as both their Engineer and Party specialties are required. |
| 4 | Meet Mewtwo on the Roof Once the building has reached its completion, head towards the rooftop to unlock a cutscene and encounter Mewtwo. From there, it will be possible to encounter Mewtwo at a Dream Island. |
| 5 | Encounter Mewtwo on a Dream Island It is possible to encounter Mewtwo on the Dream Island that unlocks from the Dragonite Doll, but we are still unsure if this is a fixed location where Mewtwo appears. |

Once you've encountered Mewtwo in the story, you will need to visit the Dream Island that unlocks after you've used the Dragonite Doll to meet him again.

Try checking for enclosed rooms that have walls with different materials compared to their surroundings, as these locations usually mark where the Legendary Pokemon is located.
