The Strange Door deviant is a chance reward for completing strange door puzzles in the open world.

Some strange door puzzles can be found in Inspection Point 7802 and Inspection Point 3771.

You can obtain the corresponding Circular Lights for your Deviations by building them via the Furniture Menu. These can be unlocked through Basic Furniture II under Building in your Memetics Cradle.

Once Human - Place in Securement Unit

To use Strange Door, you'll first need to place it in a Securement Unit. Try to fulfill its preferred environment to maximize its Power and Mood.

How to Get and Use Isolated Securement Unit

Collect Shattered Strange Door

Wait for Strange Door to produce its signature material, Shattered Strange Door, in its Securement Unit. When you have collected enough materials, you can start crafting Portal!

Try to fix up its environment to its preferred one to maximize the output of materials!

Craft Facility: Horizontal Portal and Standing Portal

Materials Needed for Portal
Horizontal and Standing Portal ・Shattered Strange Door x20
・Steel ingot x20
・Acid x4
・Glass x3

Horizontal Portal and Standing Portal are the Recipes that will become buildable once Strange Door has been placed in an Isolated Securement Unit. Even if you remove it from the display, you can still craft Portals at your leisure.

Facilities That Let You Travel Between Short Distances

Using the Portal will grant the player the ability to travel to another location with a portal. However, this has limited range so you can't use it to go from one region to another. The best use for this is within your base so you can go between rooms faster.
